CS2 Case Opening Odds (Real Valve Rates)
These are the official Valve drop probabilities for every standard CS2 weapon case. Our simulator uses these exact rates, normalised when a case has fewer rarity tiers present. StatTrak™ rolls are applied at a 10% chance on top of the rarity roll.
How the CS2 case simulator works
Each case page holds the full list of skins and rare special items for that case. When you press open, the simulator first rolls the rarity using the odds above, then picks one skin from that rarity at random, then rolls StatTrak™. The reel animation is only for show: the result is decided the moment you click, just like in the game. Prices are estimates, so the "won" total is a rough guide, not a quote.
The odds of opening a knife or gloves are about 1 in 385 per case. That means most players never unbox one, even after hundreds of keys. Running a few hundred openings in a CSGO case simulator is the quickest way to feel how rare a gold drop really is before you spend money on real keys.
Which CS2 case should you open?
Every case has the same rarity odds, so the difference is what's inside. Knife hunters often pick cases with popular knives, like the Butterfly Knife in the Operation Breakout Weapon Case or the Doppler finishes in the Chroma Case. If you want gloves, try the Glove Case, the first case with gloves as its rare special item. The newest case is the Fever Case, and the oldest is the original eSports 2013 Case from 2013.
Simulator vs real case opening sites
This simulator is free and nothing you open here is real. If you want to open cases for actual CS2 skins, case opening sites sell their own custom cases, show the chance of every item and let you withdraw to Steam. Read our guide to the best CS2 case opening sites, or check a case's value first with the house edge calculator. Only gamble with money you can afford to lose.
