Skyscraper construction
A skyscraper under construction, set on two stacked floors. Vertigo's vertical design, narrow ramps, and infamous elevator room create one of the most unique layouts in Counter-Strike.

Vertigo Layout & Bombsites
A site: Ramp, Sign, Heaven, Generator. B site: Elevator, Back plat, Boost spot. Mid: Ladder, T-stairs, Scaffolding.
History & Lore
Introduced to CS:GO in 2012 and reworked multiple times, Vertigo joined the active duty map pool in 2019 after a community-driven redesign. It remained in CS2 active duty through the Source 2 transition.
Core Tactics — CT & T Side
CT side: anchor ramp + heaven on A, stack B with shotguns, rotate via ladder. T side: mid / ramp aggression, B via elevator flashes, A split T-stairs + ramp.
Competitive History on Vertigo
Vertigo entered active duty in March 2019 after major community redesign work. The vertical two-floor layout sparked polarising opinions among pros, but ENCE, FaZe and Astralis all built strong Vertigo pool entries during 2019-2022.
Vertigo CS2 Meta Notes
CS2 Vertigo received lighting updates and clearer railing geometry. Ramp molotov lineups now behave more consistently with new volumetric smoke rendering.
Vertigo Economy & Buy Rounds
T side: Full-buy mid-to-A ramp aggression is cheapest; fall-through plays require double flash investment. CT side: Shotguns on B pistol, double AWP on full round.
